Our classes are designed for all levels, from absolute beginners to experienced potters looking to refine their skills.
Each session is guided by our instructors in a relaxed yet engaging environment.
All materials and tools are provided unless otherwise noted.
We recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy, close toed shoes and trimming your nails before class.
Students with long hair should have it tied back.
Bring your own apron or towel, as they are not provided.
Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled and ready to start on time.
Classes begin promptly so everyone can make the most of their studio time.
Late arrivals will miss important setup and instruction.
Please reach us at contact@castroclay.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
If the class is not displayed above, this means the class is sold out. Unfortunately we do not have a waitlist at this time. You can find our selection of classes in the class description page.
Unfortunately we don't have the capacity to provide make up classes for absences. Each class can only accommodate the students who booked it.
We highly encourage students to enroll in a session where they can attend all classes. We encourage students to practice during open studio hours if they are unable to attend a class. The staff will be around to assist if needed.
Castro clay is located in a residential area, so parking isn't quite ideal. That being said, there is 2 hour parking around the general vicinity of the studio. Additionally, there is 4 hour parking on the 400 block of Diamond street, one block south of the studio - and one massive hill up. Parking enforcement is vigilant in this area, so make sure to move your car in a timely manner if required.
