Jonah Nunez - Studio Manager & Instructor
Jonah has been lost in the sauce of clay since 2011 and manages the day-to-day operations at Castro Clay. He believes pottery should be approachable, rewarding, and fun to learn, no matter your experience level. His goal is to create a welcoming studio where students feel comfortable asking questions, trying new techniques, and developing their skills at their own pace. Whether it's someone's first time touching clay or they're returning after years away, his goal is for everyone to leave the studio excited to come back.
Katherine Kane - Owner
Kat founded Castro Clay with the vision of creating a welcoming neighborhood pottery studio where people could slow down, learn something new, and build community through clay. As an educator, she spends most of her time working with young artists at Eureka Valley Arts, while continuing to guide the direction of Castro Clay behind the scenes. Though you won't often find her in the studio, her belief that creativity should be accessible and community-centered continues to shape everything we do.
